Video: How to deal with latecomers to your virtual presentation

When you are giving a virtual presentation it can be a challenge to deal with latecomers and people that have joined the call on time. The trick is to create two openings. Prepare a soft opening for those who connected on time and the real opening for when everybody’s present.

You need to make sure your soft opening is interesting and relevant but not crucial to the audience’s understanding of your topic because you’re simply passing time waiting for everyone to connect.
